It is part of the basic requirements of life, and it attaches to all sorts of other subjects.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Princess is a supporter of the Foundation\u2019s Healthy Eating Week, where she visits schools to talk to students about where food comes from and the importance of eating well.<\/p>\n<p>The Foundation advocates for change to create a future where everyone can access a healthy, sustainable diet. <\/p>\n<p>Anne went on to acknowledge that with the wealth of knowledge available on the internet, there are a lot of resources for parents and teachers to educate their children about healthy eating, but it can be a challenge to get the message across to young people.<\/p>\n<p>She continued to say: \u201cWe all know that children&#8217;s taste buds don&#8217;t always match their parents, even with the best intentions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She went on to joke: \u201cI won&#8217;t tell you what I refused to eat, but it&#8217;s been largely consistent and I&#8217;ve got this far,\u201d which caused the audience to laugh. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"11f55\" data-rm-shortcode-id=\"afc5b1c504e3b2d0a43b956d46a6bc9e\" data-rm-shortcode-name=\"rebelmouse-image\" class=\"rm-shortcode rm-lazyloadable-image \" lazy-loadable=\"true\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%204006%202670'%3E%3C\/svg%3E\" data-runner-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/princess-anne.jpg\" width=\"4006\" height=\"2670\" alt=\"Princess Anne\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Princess Anne left the audience laughing as she spoke about her own eating habits <\/p>\n<p> | <\/p>\n<p>GETTY<\/p>\n<p>Later in the day, the Princess Royal travelled to the University of Hertfordshire to open the SPECTRA building.<\/p>\n<p>The new building is a \u00a3100million state-of-the-art School of Physics, Engineering and Computer Science area, which has been six years in the making.<\/p>\n<p>Anne recently revealed that she has come up with a trick to avoid a hazard that her brother, King Charles, often faces. <\/p>\n<p>Her solution was seen at the Rolls-Royce headquarters when the Princess Royal was invited to sign the visitors&#8217; book.<\/p>\n<p>Before signing the book, she was informed that the Prince and Princess of Wales had written their signatures on it in 2012 during their visit to the Seletar campus.<\/p>\n<p>Avoiding a mistake often made by the King, Anne prevents any hazards with ink from faulty fountain pens by carrying a gold pen in her handbag.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"e1191\" data-rm-shortcode-id=\"7affcfe4b6f708f9b4dc7c849452030f\" data-rm-shortcode-name=\"rebelmouse-image\" class=\"rm-shortcode rm-lazyloadable-image \" lazy-loadable=\"true\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%201562%20866'%3E%3C\/svg%3E\" data-runner-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/king-charles-princess-anne.png\" width=\"1562\" height=\"866\" alt=\"King Charles, Princess Anne\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The Princess Royal always carries a gold pen in her handbag<\/p>\n<p> | <\/p>\n<p>PA <\/p>\n<p>The King has a well-documented history of pen problems, including an incident in September 2022.<\/p>\n<p>During a signing ceremony in Northern Ireland, Charles said: &#8220;I can&#8217;t bear this bloody thing&#8230;
