Avon and Somerset Police<\/a> was called to a crash involving an electric motorbike and a car on Arnall Drive at around 10.45am.<\/p>\nThe rider of the motorbike, who is believed to be a man in his 20s, suffered a head injury.<\/p>\n
However, he refused medical treatment and left the scene on the same bike, police said.<\/p>\n
The police force said the National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter was deployed from Almondsbury and flew above Bristol for 33 minutes to look for the man.<\/p>\n
Officers are keen to find the man in order to check on his welfare following the head injury.<\/p>\n
Police are appealing for anyone with information to call the force.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: \u201cWe were called to a collision involving an electric motorbike and a car on Arnall Drive, Shirehampton, at around 10.45am today (Wednesday, November 26).<\/p>\n
\u201cThe rider of the bike, who is believed to be a man in his 20s, suffered a head injury.<\/p>\n
“He refused medical treatment and left the scene on the same bike.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe NPAS helicopter has been deployed as part of patrols to find him as we want to check on his welfare.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnybody with information is asked to call us on 101 quoting reference number 5225332056.\u201d<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for NPAS said: “At 11.54hrs on November 26, a police helicopter crew from Almondsbury were deployed to support Avon and Somerset Police in a search for a suspect vehicle in the Bristol area.<\/p>\n
