King Felipe VI<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Queen Letizia of\u00a0Spain<\/a>\u00a0are hosting German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and First Lady Elke B\u00fcdenbender <\/b>on a State Visit to Spain<\/b><\/a> <\/b>to strengthen political, economic, and diplomatic ties, from November 26th to the 28th, following the Spanish State Visit to Germany<\/b> in 2022<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the morning, King Felipe VI<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Queen Letizia<\/a> officially welcomed German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and First Lady Elke B\u00fcdenbender in an Official Welcome Ceremony in the courtyard of the Royal Palace in Madrid. During the ceremony, the King and President reviewed a battalion of the Royal Guard and viewed a parade.<\/p>\n

The Queen and First Lady held a working meeting in the Gallery of Royal Collections on women and equality in Spain. Later, the King and Queen hosted a luncheon for President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the First Lady at the Palace of La Zarzuela, following a meeting between the King and the President.<\/p>\n

In the evening, King Felipe and Queen Letizia held a State Banquet in honour of President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the First Lady at the Royal Palace of Madrid. Both the King and President gave speeches.<\/p>\n
