Adored singer Mayerly D\u00edaz has suddenly died aged 32 following an alleged heart attack after a cosmetic procedure, it’s been reported. It’s been suggested the mother-of-two’s cardiac arrest may have been connected to complications from the surgery – but this has not been confirmed. The pop and local folk singer, originally from La Sierra, underwent the procedure in a hospital in Facatativ\u00e1, Colombia, in the early hours of Saturday, November 22. Mayerly leaves behind her two children, who are 11 and 13 years old. Tributes continue to pour in for the star, whose musical journey began at the age of 14.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The star was regularly making music, and her music video for Con tus chiros a otra parte – Take Your Cash Somewhere Else – was released only a week ago.<\/p>\n

The singer’s manager and close friend, N\u00e9stor, said: \u201cHer voice and passion for music represented all our people. We will remember her for her humility and the joy she brought in every song.\u201d<\/p>\n
