Leeds United<\/a> are surely considering replacing Daniel Farke<\/a> this week as they prepare to face Manchester City.<\/strong><\/p>\n

United\u2019s chances of survival in the Premier League have dropped quite drastically in the past month or so. Five losses in the last six games will do the trick on that front.<\/p>\n

As a result, it leaves Daniel Farke staring down the barrel<\/a> in the eyes of the fanbase. But, a decision does not look currently imminent<\/a> on the manager.<\/p>\n

During the summer, Paraag Marathe and co decided to stick by Farke<\/a> after initially putting the feelers out over his exit. Their intent was to show that, with backing, Farke could make it work in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Truth is, there\u2019s been two problems. Farke is one of them, and the other is that he hasn\u2019t been given the requisite tools to comfortably stave off relegation.<\/p>\n

When looking at Leeds\u2019 squad, it\u2019s clear that it\u2019s in the bottom five of the division. Therefore, to stand any chance of finishing 17th, we need a manager capable of getting every minute percentage out of the players<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Can Farke be that man? Performances against Everton, Wolves, Bournemouth, and West Ham prove Leeds can be competitive, but the consistency and inability to change games is alarming<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The sudden bounce the teams around Leeds have gained from sacking their managers is enough proof of what a difference it can make.<\/p>\n

Nottingham Forest have gone from total hopelessness under Ange Postecoglou, to thumping Liverpool at Anfield. Nuno Espirito Santo took time to get his ideas across, but has collected seven points since their turgid loss at Elland Road.<\/p>\n

On top of just getting points on the board, there\u2019s January to consider. <\/p>\n

If Leeds don\u2019t find themselves turning their fortunes around, not many signings considered notable improvements would want to trade their position for probable relegation.<\/p>\n

A change in manager from Farke \u2013 statistically the Premier League\u2019s worst ever<\/a> \u2013 to someone who commands serious authority might give Leeds a leg up in the new year.<\/p>\n

Any potential signings might view a change in management at Elland Road as an improvement worthy of sealing the deal.<\/p>\n

Changing managers represents a risk for Leeds. See Jesse Marsch, Javi Gracia and Sam Allardyce for proof of that. But, it\u2019s at a point where rolling the dice is better than a slide towards the EFL, and hypothetical signings may well agree.<\/p>\n
