ITV defended the interview at the time, asserting it was &#8216;fair and impartial&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"devonlive\">Dame Carolyn McCall, ITV&#8217;s Chief Executive, remarked: &#8220;Would we do it again? No. Was it impartial, fair and balanced? And did they behave professionally? Yes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"devonlive\">&#8220;I mean, he asked her a few questions, but I think Kate was leading on that, wasn&#8217;t she?
