Leeds United<\/a> surely have manager contingencies in place ahead of this weekend, as Daniel Farke remains on the brink of the sack.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first of three incredibly tough fixtures awaits this weekend for Leeds<\/a>, as they travel to Manchester City<\/a> on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Daniel Farke\u2019s position as manager might well hinge on being able to get something out of this game, which of course leaves him in a horrid situation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Not often should a newly-promoted manager\u2019s position hinge on being able to get a result away to Pep Guardiola\u2019s Manchester City. But, that may well be the case for Farke at Leeds.<\/p>\n

Five losses in the last six is enough to call him into question. However, the manner in which Leeds have routinely seen Farke\u2019s same weaknesses become so exposed makes for even bleaker reading.<\/p>\n

With 11 points so far from 12 games, Leeds previously solid 1.00 points per game has dwindled. Consequently, we are now in the bottom three after a defiant couple of weeks from Farke<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bo Svensson \u2018not rushing\u2019 into new manager position amid Leeds United speculation<\/p>\n

Looking at the bookmakers\u2019 odds for a definitive clue on which manager is most likely to replace Farke is not a wise endeavour.<\/p>\n

That said, it does give you a glimpse into an array of educated guesses you could make. Such as, former Mainz and Union Berlin man Bo Svensson<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Dane has been out of work since December 2024 after leaving Union. But, Berliner Zeitung<\/a> report that he\u2019s currently in no rush to return to a managerial position.<\/p>\n

Despite being dismissed just under a year ago, Svensson is still being paid out by the Bundesliga side. As a result, he\u2019s already rejected Rangers and Belgian club Royale Union Saint-Gilloise.<\/p>\n

Carlos Corberan given Valencia backing amidst talk of Leeds United reunion<\/p>\n

Another manager many would see as an obvious suggestion is Marcelo Bielsa\u2019s pragmatic former assistant Carlos Corberan.<\/p>\n

The Spaniard has made a real name for himself building teams up from relegation fodder to upward mobility. He took Huddersfield Town from probable relegation to the playoff final. Then, he took West Brom from a similar position to the playoffs. And, he\u2019s since steered Valencia out of trouble<\/a> in La Liga despite all three clubs operating on serious budget restrictions and with limited squads.<\/p>\n

However, despite looking like he was on the brink at Valencia recently<\/a>, four points in the last two games have lifted Valencia to 15th and out of trouble for now.<\/p>\n
