Actor Kevin Spacey<\/a>\u00a0will face three more civil claims of sexual assault at London’s High Court next year, the BBC and Sky News<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n

BBC News<\/a> reported Nov. 26 that the three men have sued the star, claiming that they were assaulted between 2000 and 2013. During a London High Court hearing, a provisional trial date was set for Oct. 12.<\/p>\n

Spacey, 66, has consistently denied allegations of wrongdoing. The Academy Award-winning actor has formally denied two of the claims and has yet to file a defense to the third, which was submitted in September, according to Sky News.<\/a><\/p>\n

A London jury cleared Spacey of nine sexual offense<\/a> charges at a high-profile 2023 criminal trial.<\/p>\n

One man in the new case alleges that Spacey “deliberately assaulted” him on about 12 occasions between 2000 and 2005. Another met Spacey at a London Old Vic theater workshop and claims he “suffered psychiatric damage and financial loss” as a result of a 2008 assault, according to the BBC report.<\/p>\n

The American actor was the artistic director of the London Old Vic theater from 2004 to 2013.<\/p>\n

The third man, Ruari Cannon, waived his right to anonymity and appeared in the 2024 Channel 4 documentary\u00a0“Spacey Unmasked.”<\/a> Cannon starred in a 2013 Old Vic production of “Sweet Bird of Youth”\u00a0at the Old Vic and claims Spacey groped him at a party after the play\u2019s opening night.<\/p>\n

Representatives for Spacey did not immediately respond to USA TODAY’s request for comment on the latest legal update.<\/p>\n

The “House of Cards” actor, who has faced\u00a0widespread allegations of sexual misconduct<\/a>\u00a0since 2017,\u00a0recently shared in an interview<\/a> that he was “living in hotels” and “in Airbnbs,” adding that “I have no home.”<\/p>\n
