Tony Brown has questioned the fitness levels of West Brom after they conceded another late goal against Birmingham City.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Baggies drew 1-1 with the Blues on Wednesday in what was a frustrating result.<\/p>\n West Brom<\/a> played well at The Hawthorns<\/a> for much of the game, and were deservedly ahead against their West Midlands rivals.<\/p>\n However, Marvin Ducksch popped up late on to cancel out Alex Mowatt\u2019s opener for the Baggies to ensure the points were shared.<\/p>\n Ryan Mason\u2019s<\/a> side have made a habit of conceding late on this season.<\/p>\n Defeats against Derby, Ipswich and Charlton have all come within the dying minutes of the match, which has cost the Baggies points.<\/p>\n Even in West Brom\u2019s 1-1 draw with Leicester<\/a>, the Foxes only netted the equaliser in added time as Nat Phillips put the ball into his own net.<\/p>\n Now, after this was repeated on Wednesday, Brown was quick to question the fitness levels of the Baggies players, as they once again failed to hold onto a lead.<\/p>\n He said on BBC Radio WM<\/a> on 26 November:\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s frustrating conceding late on again, they should be fit enough, they should be able to play for four hours with how fit they\u2019re supposed to be.\u201d<\/p>\n West Brom continue to fail in the second half<\/p>\n It has already been pointed out how poor West Brom are in the second half, and this has now come to haunt the Baggies again.<\/p>\n While West Brom did have chances to extend their lead after half-time<\/a>, they have once again failed to consolidate their lead, resulting in more points dropped.<\/p>\n Mason is already facing heavy pressure at The Hawthorns<\/a>, with the Baggies now languishing in 17th, five points off the playoffs.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n If results do not pick up soon, it is hard to see how the Englishman will remain in his post at the Black Country club.<\/p>\n With Swansea and QPR up next, hopefully Mason will be able to secure back-to-back wins and silence his critics. <\/p>\n Enjoyed this article?<\/strong> Stay connected with all the latest West Bromwich Albion news, updates, and behind-the-scenes content by following us on our new Instagram account \u2013 @westbromnews247<\/a><\/p>\n ![\"West](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Alex-1Mowatt-West-Brom-1024x576.jpg\")
