Issuing a product recall <\/a>on Thursday, November 27, Asda said: “The product listed above has been labelled with an incorrect use by date of 29 December 2025 which makes them unsafe to consume after the correct use by date of 29 November 2025.”<\/p>\n![\"This](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/0_spring-rolls.jpg\")

The supermarket says that in order to get a refund, shoppers should simply return the product to their nearest Asda store. Asda said: “If you have bought the above product do not consume it. Instead, please return it to your nearest store for a full refund.”<\/p>\n
Asda added: “You do not need your receipt. For further information, please contact Asda Customer Relations on 0800 952 0101.”<\/p>\n
Food products get recalled for a variety of reasons. If there is a problem with a food product that means it should not be sold, then it might be ‘withdrawn’ (taken off the shelves) or ‘recalled’ (when customers are asked to return the product).<\/p>\n
The FSA issues Product Recall Information Notices to let consumers and local authorities know about problems associated with food. In some cases, a ‘Food Alert for Action’ is issued. This provides local authorities with details of specific action to be taken on behalf of consumers.<\/p>\n
