That\u2019s all.<\/p>\n<p>But let\u2019s humour this idea that \u2018LIVERPOOL could ask Jurgen Klopp to make a dramatic return if they sack Arne Slot.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>They certainly could. But again, the odds of Lawrence getting that information and not a more respected Liverpool journalist feels infinitesimal.<\/p>\n<p>From \u2018Liverpool could turn to Jurgen Klopp to save season\u2019 in the headline, to him merely being \u2018part of the conversation\u2019 about a possible change by the tenth paragraph. How does something Klopp said four years ago \u2018speak volumes\u2019 about Liverpool now?<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u2018Klopp\u2019s emphatic response to the adversary [sic] he was under shows Slot that he can bring Liverpool back from the brink, and perhaps save his own job in the process.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Oh, it\u2019s somehow worse than an old quote. \u2018Klopp\u2019s emphatic response\u2019 wasn\u2019t even something he said, but simply Liverpool stopping being sh*t to eventually qualify for the Champions League. This slap on the wrist is purely for whoever heard or saw Gerrard say\u2026<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cYou look at the back four that you finish with: Curtis Jones, Gravenberch, Van Dijk and Kerkez. Twice. In the span of about 15 hours.
