There will be music, crafts, games, stalls and more.<\/p>\n<p>Also on Saturday <strong>St Peter\u2019s Church<\/strong> in Belle Isle (LS10 3QN) are holding their <strong>Christmas Fayre<\/strong> from 1pm \u2013 3pm, admission is just 20p.<\/p>\n<p>There are two theatre performances on Saturday afternoon. <strong>A Town Called Christmas<\/strong> is Wrongsemble\u2019s latest family friendly offering. Buckle in for a rollercoaster of magic, music, and mayhem as our hero crash-lands in a crumbling town where only the long-forgotten fables, a cantankerous caretaker and a glitching robot remain! Can they save the day, and the town called \u00a0Christmas? For adventurers aged 3+ and their grown-ups, 2pm at Slung Low\u2019s Warehouse in Holbeck. Pay what you decide, book at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slunglow.org\/shows\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>www.slunglow.org\/shows<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then at 2:30pm, over at Rowland Road Social Club in Beeston, Brave Words are staging <a href=\"https:\/\/southleedslife.com\/prophecy-poison-and-poultry-the-rise-and-fall-of-the-yorkshire-witch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Mutton<\/strong><\/a>, the story of Yorkshire Witch, Mary Batemen. Involving fake identities, magic charms, poisoned pudding, a holy hen, drunk watchmen and \u2013 of course \u2013 a freshly-shaved leg of mutton. Age guidance 12+, pay what you decide, book at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bravewords.co.uk\/mutton\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>www.bravewords.co.uk\/mutton<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/leedsknights.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Leeds Knights<\/strong><\/a> entertain Romford Raiders on Saturday evening. The ice hockey match faces off at 6:30pm at Planet Ice on Elland Road.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s more theatre in Holbeck on Saturday evening at 7pm. \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/southleedslife.com\/red-ladder-and-wrongsemble-join-forces-with-festive-double-bill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>A Proper Merry Christmess<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 is a chaotic Christmas comedy for grown-ups \u2013 an honest festive story, featuring the authentic heartbreak and humour that the Christmas movies usually leave out. At Slung Low\u2019s Warehouse in Holbeck, Crosby Street, LS11 9RQ. As usual its pay what you decide, book tickets at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slunglow.org\/shows\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>www.slunglow.org\/shows<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Down at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/leedsdock\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Leeds Dock<\/strong><\/a> they are holding another <a href=\"https:\/\/southleedslife.com\/fearns-unveils-its-festive-fun-lineup-complete-with-crafts-choirs-and-cheer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Makers\u2019 Market<\/strong><\/a> at Fearns on the Boulevard, LS10 1PZ. Discover handmade lino prints, eco-conscious skincare, bespoke illustrations, botanical art and recycled silver jewellery \u2013 plus so much more! It\u2019s a treasure trove of fresh discoveries and one-of-a-kind pieces \u2013 perfect for a relaxed weekend browse. Sunday 11am-4pm.<\/p>\n<p>Councillors on the <a href=\"https:\/\/southleedslife.com\/outer-south-community-committee-agenda-published-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Outer South Community Committee<\/strong><\/a>, which now includes Middleton Park ward, meet on Monday at 4pm at Leeds Civic Hall. The meeting will be livestreamed and available to watch afterwards on YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>As it\u2019s the first week of December there are a number of residents meetings taking place, starting with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/118895245154302\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Middleton Community Group<\/strong><\/a> which meets on Monday, 6-7pm, at the Middleton Elderly Aid Social Centre, Acre Road, LS10 4LF.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Garnet and Oakley Tenants &amp; Residents Association<\/strong> also meet on Monday at 6:30pm at the St Luke\u2019s CARES Charity shop, 246 Dewsbury Road, LS11 6JQ.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Buy, Sell, Swap<\/strong> is the new version of the jumble or car boot sale and you can take part in one at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100077534806855\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Manorfield Hall Community Centre<\/strong><\/a>, Newhall Road, LS10 3RR on Tuesday 10-11:30am. Entry is free, refreshments will be on sale, get down a buy, sell or swap new and used items.<\/p>\n<p>There are a host of Police Contact Points this week. This is a chance to raise concerns or ask questions of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/WYPLeedsSouth\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Leeds South Neighbourhood Policing Team<\/strong><\/a> in an informal setting. On Tuesday they will be at Hunslet Community Hub &amp; Library from 10am-12pm. On Wednesday they are at Dewsbury Road Community Hub &amp; Library, 10am-12pm and at Ingram Gardens Community Centre from 10am-12pm. Then on Thursday they will be at Beeston Community Hub &amp; Library on Town Street, 10am-12pm.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/1133353898064105\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Stronger Together<\/strong><\/a> is a friendly support group for parents, guardians and carers who care for children and young people with disabilities. It is a monthly space to chat and share. The next meeting is on Tuesday, 11am-1pm at BITMO\u2019s GATE, Aberfield Gate, LS10 3QH.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.leedsunited.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Leeds United<\/strong><\/a> entertain Chelsea in the Premiership on Wednesday evening, kicking off at 8:15pm. You can expect the usual heavy traffic and parking issues around Beeston, Holbeck and Cottingley before and after the match.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HCRA10\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Hunslet Carr Residents Association<\/strong><\/a> meets on Thursday, 6:30pm, at Woodhouse Hill Community Centre, LS10 2EF<\/p>\n<p>Also on Thursday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/102358904988\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Beeston Community Forum<\/strong><\/a> meets at 7pm at Beeston Village Community Centre, off Town Street, LS11 8DQ.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Middletonmea\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Middleton Elderly Aid<\/strong><\/a> host their monthly free <strong>legal advice<\/strong> drop -in on Friday morning fropm 9:30-11:30am at their Social Centre on Acre Road, LS10 4LF.<\/p>\n<p>And finally, the last ever staging of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/1165490024282757\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Santa\u2019s Grotto<\/strong><\/a> at 126 Middleton Park Grove will take place on Friday 3-6pm and Saturday 6 December 12-6pm.
