Leeds are currently in the relegation zone, but that has not stopped European giants from taking a look at the squad.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Inter Milan like Illan Meslier<\/a> \u2013 along with AC Milan \u2013 as both hunt for a new goalkeeper, despite the fact the Frenchman has slipped behind Lucas Perri and Karl Darlow in the pecking order.<\/p>\n

However, a move to AC Milan for Illan Meslier<\/a> has not been endorsed by Christophe Jallet, who has instead warned the Italian giants against signing the Leeds<\/a> outcast.<\/p>\n

The man who made 198 appearances for PSG now works for Canal+ in France, and spoke to Milan News<\/a> about the goalkeeping situation at AC Milan.<\/p>\n

When asked whether AC Milan should sign Meslier or Toulouse glovesman Guillaume Restes, Jallet said: \u201cMeslier is leaner and more skinny, Restes is more powerful. It\u2019s difficult to choose, but I\u2019d go with Guillaume because he gives me more confidence.\u201d<\/p>\n

You can\u2019t really argue against that, considering even Farke himself has little confidence in the 25-year-old.<\/p>\n

While a move to AC Milan might not happen for Meslier anymore after these comments, he still seems to have plenty of options.<\/p>\n

Despite his issues at Elland Road, there are still many clubs who admire the Frenchman.<\/p>\n

Strasbourg like Meslier<\/a> and could sign him in January ahead of his contract expiring at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

Paying Leeds a small fee in January signals a way for Strasbourg \u2013 or any other club \u2013 to get ahead of the queue, as the competition will become more fierce once he officially enters free agency. <\/p>\n

Therefore, even if the comments from Jallet have put AC Milan off, Leeds still have a strong chance of negotiating a sale this winter. <\/p>\n
