PlayStation Plus<\/a> subscribers are counting down to the official reveal of the PS Plus Essentials for May 2025.<\/p>\n

The next wave of PS Plus Essentials will be revealed by Sony<\/a> on the afternoon of April 30. The PS4<\/a> and PS5<\/a> games will be available to download and install on May 6.<\/p>\n

The May 2025 PS Plus games will replace the current line-up, which is headlined by Robocop Rogue City, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory.<\/p>\n

With the next wave of games about to be announced, subscribers have been attempting to predict the line-up ahead of the big reveal.<\/p>\n

In the monthly predictions thread over on Reddit<\/a>, multiple subscribers believe Until Dawn Remastered will join the line-up.<\/p>\n

Not only would it coincide with the release of the Until Dawn movie, but according to a recent leak spotted by a Reddit<\/a> user, the popular horror game was listed as one of the PS Plus games on the PlayStation Store page.<\/p>\n

It’s possible Until Dawn was added to the page prematurely, and will be announced as a PS Plus game later this week.<\/p>\n

Until Dawn is a narrative adventure inspired by classic slasher movies. Players are tasked with making decisions that have life and death consequences, as eight friends visit a remote lodge with a bloody history.<\/p>\n

NBA 2K25 is another popular pick in the predictions thread, alongside fellow sports titles such as EA FC 25 and EA Sports WRC.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Electronic Arts, other users believe EA-published adventure game Lost in Random could join the line-up.<\/p>\n

Lost in Random is described as a gothic fairytale adventure in which progression is decided by the roll of a dice.<\/p>\n

Sony explains more: “Ruled by a wicked Queen, the kingdom of Random is divided into six shadowy realms where life is dictated by a cursed black dice.<\/p>\n

“You\u2019ll join Even, a penniless girl who\u2019s down on her luck, in a dark quest to save her beloved sister. With her companion Dicey, a small and strange living dice, Even must learn to embrace the chaos of Random, uncovering an age-old tale with a modern message.”<\/p>\n

Other games featured in the predictions thread include Hades, Trepang 2, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, Pacific Drive, Undisputed, Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered, Atomic Heart, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, Braid, Hi-Fi Rush, F1 Manager 2024, Still Wakes the Deep and Lords of the Fallen.<\/p>\n

That’s on top of The Pathless, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Wo Long Fallen Dynasty, Terminator Resistance, A Way Out, Yakuza 0, Resident Evil Village, Alone in the Dark, The Outlast Trials, Insurgency Sandstorm, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes and Ark Survival Ascended.<\/p>\n

Other fans believe first-party games may be added to the line-up, such as LEGO Horizon Adventures, Horizon Forbidden West and The Last of Us Part 2.<\/p>\n
