Konate has become a target for supporters during Liverpool\u2019s miserable run of form, with a number of high-profile errors making the Frenchman stand out.<\/p>\n

That was no different on Wednesday night when Slot\u2019s side slipped to a 4-1 defeat to PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League<\/a> and turned the narrative to whether the head coach should be sacked.<\/p>\n

There was a distinct silence throughout most of the next day, before a series of posts from the squad on social media.<\/p>\n

Liverpool squad show united front amid Slot sack calls<\/p>\n

There seemed a clear directive from the leaders in the squad to show a united front, with captain Virgil van Dijk<\/a> no doubt aware of the outside pressure on Slot.<\/p>\n
