The MHA\u2008Communities South Leeds team will be preparing Christmas dinners for isolated older people on Christmas Day, but they need some help.<\/p>\n
Based at St Andrew\u2019s Community Centre, off Old Lane in Beeston, they are looking for volunteer drivers who can take the meals out to their clients from 11:45am on 25 December.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cChristmas is a lovely time of year, but it can be very lonely if you are on your own. We can provide a Christmas dinner, but we need help getting them out to those that need them.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you are a driver and can spare some time on Christmas morning, we would love to hear from you.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd if you know anyone who would benefit from a delivered Christmas meal on Christmas Day, please let us know\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The team will be delivering a limited service over the festive period, but there will be drop-in sessions at St Andrew\u2019s Community Centre from 10am-12pm on Christmas Eve and Monday 29, Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 December.
The scheme will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year\u2019s Day. The normal programme of activities will start again on Monday 5 January 2026.<\/p>\n
