The divisive British fighter will be desperate to make a statement on his Matchroom Boxing<\/a> debut as he targets more titles after linking up with Eddie Hearn.<\/p>\n

Whittaker, who has held the IBF international light heavyweight championship since June last year, will know he will have to be at his best to topple Gavazi.<\/p>\n

The German is on a 19-fight win streak, and picked up WBC International light-heavyweight title last December, but Whittaker is unbeaten in his professional career, making amends for a controversial draw against Liam Cameron by stopping him in their rematch earlier this year. <\/p>\n

Now, Whittaker, the 2020 Olympic silver medallist, takes Gavazi for the vacant WBC Silver light heavyweight belt. <\/p>\n
