The collision at the junction of the Derrylin Road and Tiravally Road in Enniskillen was reported at around 7pm on Friday.<\/p>\n

Chief Inspector Simpson of the PSNI\u2019s Collision Investigation Unit said: \u201cShortly after 7pm, we received a report of a collision involving a Ford Kuga and a bus on the Derrylin Road.<\/p>\n

\u201cOfficers attended, alongside emergency service partners, however the two occupants of the Kuga were pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere have been no reports of any serious injuries to the driver or passengers of the bus at this time.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Derrylin Road remained closed for some time overnight, but reopened on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur enquiries are continuing, and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have digital footage which could assist with our investigation, to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 1276 of 28\/11\/25.<\/p>\n

The coach involved in the crash was travelling from Dublin to Donegal at the time.<\/p>\n

A Bus \u00c9ireann spokesperson said: \u201cBus \u00c9ireann can confirm that yesterday evening one of our Expressway Route 30 services was involved in a serious road traffic collision involving another vehicle in the Derrylin Road area of Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh.<\/p>\n

\u201cEmergency services and Bus \u00c9ireann personnel attended the scene.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe safety of our passengers, staff and the public is of paramount importance to Bus \u00c9ireann.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will provide any assistance required to the relevant authorities.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) spokesperson said: \u201cThe Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 7pm on Friday November 28 following reports of a two-vehicle RTC on Derrylin Road, Enniskillen.<\/p>\n

“NIAS despatched two Rapid Response Paramedics, two Emergency Crews and an Ambulance Officer to the incident.<\/p>\n

\u201cFollowing assessment and initial treatment at the scene, no patients were taken to hospital.\u201d<\/p>\n

The deaths bring the number of fatalities on Northern Ireland\u2019s roads this year to 49. Deaths of those travelling in a car \u2013 either driver or passenger \u2013 make up 26 of that total.<\/p>\n

Some 13 pedestrians have also lost their lives as a result of road traffic collisions in 2025.<\/p>\n

The total figure for road traffic deaths in 2024 was 59, down slightly from the previous year\u2019s figure of 61.<\/p>\n

Sinn F\u00e9in MLA Jemma Dolan said the latest deaths had \u201cshocked the local community\u201d.<\/p>\n

“This is the latest tragic incident on our roads in recent weeks,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

“I want to send my condolences to the victims’ families and friends at this time.<\/p>\n

“My thoughts are also with those involved in the collision and I also pay tribute to the emergency services who attended the scene.<\/p>\n
