A crash between a car and bus in Co Fermanagh<\/a> has claimed the lives of two men.<\/p>\n Police confirmed that the two men sadly died after a collision on the Derrylin Road in Enniskillen<\/a> shortly after 7pm on Friday, November 28. The crash involved a Ford Kuga and a Bus Eireann coach travelling between Dublin and Donegal.<\/p>\n The two men had been travelling in the Ford Kuga and were pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Coach involved in serious crash in Co Fermanagh<\/a><\/p>\n Chief Inspector Simpson of the Police Service of Northern Ireland\u2019s<\/a> Collision Investigation Unit said: \u201cShortly after 7pm, we received a report of a collision involving a Ford Kuga and a bus on the Derrylin Road.<\/p>\n \u201cOfficers attended, alongside emergency service partners, however the two occupants of the Kuga were pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n \u201cThere have been no reports of any serious injuries to the driver or passengers of the bus at this time.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Derrylin Road remained closed for some time overnight, but reopened on Saturday morning, November 29.<\/p>\n \u201cOur enquiries are continuing, and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have digital footage which could assist with our investigation, to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 1276 of 28\/11\/25.”<\/p>\n You can also submit a report online via http:\/\/www.psni.police.uk\/makeareport\/<\/a> or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for Bus Eireann said: “Bus Eireann can confirm that yesterday evening one of our Expressway Route 30 services was involved in a serious road traffic collision involving another vehicle in the Derrylin Road area of Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh.<\/p>\n “Emergency services and Bus Eireann personnel attended the scene. The safety of our passengers, staff and the public is of paramount importance to Bus Eireann. We will provide any assistance required to the relevant authorities.”<\/p>\n Sinn F\u00e9in MLA Jemma Dolan has expressed her shock and sadness at the news. She said: “The news that two men have died following a collision is a tragedy and has shocked the local community.<\/p>\n “This is the latest tragic incident on our roads in recent weeks. I want to send my condolences to the victims’ families and friends at this time.<\/p>\n “My thoughts are also with those involved in the collision and I also pay tribute to the emergency services who attended the scene.<\/p>\n “Anyone with information about the collision should contact the police.”<\/p>\n UUP MLA Diana Armstrong said: “I am deeply saddened by the tragic accident on the Derrylin Road at the Tiravally Road junction last night, involving Bus \u00c9ireann and a car, which claimed the lives of two people.
