Saint Mirren FC<\/a> gaffer says he was buzzing for the Tartan Army when the final whistle went as he and his wife danced to the result.<\/p>\n\u201cI was absolutely buzzing. My wife [Robyn] is a mad Scotland fan, and we were dancing round the house,\u201d he said, reflecting on the historic moment.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think there were pictures of me in a Scotland shirt from the week before. Scotland has given me a very good living, I love Scottish football and the Scottish national team.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe national anthem was unbelievable, absolutely brilliant. I know every word to it now so I\u2019m told to stand up and sing it!<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m a big Scotland national team fan, and Steve Clarke has done absolutely amazing, Steven Naismith as well. Everybody in the country is delighted and I\u2019m as big a fan as anybody.\u201d<\/p>\n
A sensational opener from Napoli\u2019s Scott McTominay was followed by Lawrence Shankland, with Celtic\u2019s Kieran Tierney scoring the late goal to take Scotland in front in injury time, sending Hampden into a frenzy.<\/p>\n
And former Saints star Kenny McLean rounded off the game in style when he chipped Kasper Schmeichel from his own half to seal the victory.<\/p>\n
Robbo says the stunning goal sent his household wild, too. He said: \u201cWhen Kenny McLean\u2019s strike hit the back of the net, we were dancing and my dogs were hiding under the dining room chairs as they were scared stiff of us screaming and shouting.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a brilliant night for Scottish football and a night you dream of. The goals were absolutely unbelievable. The fact that Scott McTominay\u2019s goal is not being spoken about is incredible.\u201d<\/p>\n
Northern Ireland or Wales now have a chance of joining the Scots and England at the tournament, with the last time all four appeared at the same competition being the 1958 World Cup.<\/p>\n
Wales will host Bosnia and Herzegovina on a one-legged World Cup play-off semi-final and could meet either Italy or Northern Ireland in the final.<\/p>\n
Robinson, who is from Northern Ireland, hopes his home country can make it past the Italians. He added: \u201cI spoke to Michael O\u2019Neill when he was in Zurich Airport. I\u2019m not sure they could have got a harder draw.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a tough draw, but they have absolutely nothing to lose. When they have their full team out, I think they have shown they are very competitive against anybody.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a really bright, young team that Michael has put together. How good would that be getting to the World Cup?\u201d<\/p>\n
