Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene<\/a> appeared to send a cryptic message to President Donald Trump<\/a>, warning him about \u201cone of the worst mistakes\u201d he will make.<\/p>\n The firebrand Georgia Republican, who was once a loyal ally of Trump, has been in a public feud <\/a>with the president in recent weeks over issues including foreign policy and affordability. <\/p>\n She has become so fed up with Washington that she announced her resignation from Congress, <\/a>effective January 2026, telling Americans, \u201cI refuse to be a \u2018battered wife\u2019 hoping it all goes away and gets better.\u201d Greene will still qualify for her pension<\/a>.<\/p>\n In an X post<\/a> Friday morning, Greene talked about empty promises. <\/p>\n \u201cOne of the worst mistakes you can ever make is over promise and under deliver,\u201d she said. \u201cIt will leave people furious to the point they won\u2019t even appreciate the good things they received. Other than that, HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL, except those that hate, steal, murder, and destroy everything that America stands for \u2014 You won\u2019t be here for long!\u201d the president said.<\/p>\n Trump\u2019s message against immigrants, including those living in the U.S. legally, comes after two National Guard members were shot<\/a>, one fatally, in Washington, D.C., allegedly by Afghan national Rahmanullah Lakanwal<\/a>.<\/p>\n open image in gallery<\/p>\n Greene’s message comes after Trump called for ‘reverse migration’ (Win McNamee\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n In response to the attack, Trump ordered a “rigorous reexamination” of all Green Cards issued to immigrants from “a country of concern.\u201d<\/p>\n While both Trump and Greene have hardline views on immigration, they differ when it comes to H-1B visas<\/a>, a legal route for highly-skilled foreign workers to live in the U.S.<\/p>\n Greene announced <\/a>on X earlier this month that she was introducing a bill to \u201cEND the mass replacement of American workers by aggressively phasing out the H1B program.\u201d<\/p>\n But Trump has defended the program<\/a>, telling Fox News\u2019 Laura Ingraham, \u201cyou also do have to bring in talent,\u201d days before Greene\u2019s announcement.<\/p>\n When Ingraham argued that there are \u201cplenty\u201d of talented people already in the U.S., Trump said, \u201cYou don\u2019t have certain talents.\u201d<\/p>\n open image in gallery<\/p>\n While both Trump and Greene have hardline views on immigration, they differ when it comes to H-1B visas (Anna Moneymaker\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n![\"Representative](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/SEI275236225.jpg\")
