A child sex abuser has had a second book binned by Amazon<\/a>. Edinburgh-born Simon Carroll<\/a>, 46, wrote Seriously Twisted Tales, which contained murder, body mutilation and sexual scenes.<\/p>\n The beast \u2013 jailed for four years for abusing two boys \u2013 used the pseudonym Simon Lang. It is the second book he has had removed by the online retail giant.<\/p>\n The Record revealed last month how his novel, Mini Monster Mystery: An Andrew Aims Adventure, was canned after his true identity was exposed. Victim Ross Thompson suffered severe trauma into adulthood which led to him losing his life after battling drugs.<\/p>\n His sister, Kirsty Astbury, 35, said: \u201cThe fact that a convicted paedophile <\/a>was able to make his twisted and disturbed thoughts into a novel which was then sold for profit under another name is unacceptable. I am glad Amazon brought the listing down. I will stand firmly with victims and survivors of this monster and hope he is never able to sell through their site again.\u201d<\/p>\n Carroll chose the surname Lang as it is his wife\u2019s maiden name. He previously used SD Lang, with the initials coming from his own \u00adforenames Simon David. The online overview states, \u201cTrigger warning: some graphic scenes of violence \u2013 including violence against children though this is in a dream \u2013 the murders of a family, sexual scenes and one scene of body mutilation\u201d.<\/p>\n Kirsty added: \u201cReading the trigger warning was deeply upsetting and I \u00adseriously question where his head is at and what he is capable of doing.\u201d<\/p>\n In 2016, Carroll \u2013 a former director of a community centre and nursery in \u00adPenicuik<\/a>, Midlothian \u2013 was convicted of sexually abusing two boys. Last year, he was charged with changing his name but the case was dropped.<\/p>\n An Amazon spokesman said: \u201cWe have content guidelines governing which books can be listed for sale. We invest significant time and resources so guidelines are followed.
