Rengo\u2019s Tri-Wall Limited subsidiary and Tri-Wall\u2019s unit TRICOR Packaging & Logistics have commenced operations at a newly built heavy-duty corrugated packaging plant in Goch, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The facility features a fully automated internal transport system, two automated warehouses, and photovoltaic and cogeneration systems.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

It spans a site area of 166,000m\u00b2 with a total floor area of 54,000m\u00b2, and will produce and sell industrial and heavy-duty corrugated board and boxes.\u00a0<\/p>\n Local authorities expect the plant to support regional economic development through job creation, according to a statement from Rengo, the Japanese manufacturer and distributor of\u202fpaper and packaging products.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n TRICOR plans to employ more than 200 people.\u00a0<\/p>\n The new plant will enhance Rengo\u2019s supply capabilities, improve delivery times and support a wider range of packaging needs across Europe, while expanding the group\u2019s global heavy-duty packaging business.\u00a0<\/p>\n Tri-Wall Limited, headquartered in Hong Kong and led by global COO Eiji Miyazaki, is responsible for the group\u2019s manufacturing and sales activities in heavy-duty packaging materials.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n TRICOR Packaging & Logistics is based in Bad W\u00f6rishofen and headed by CEO Philipp Kosloh.\u00a0<\/p>\n It develops and manufactures standard and bespoke industrial and heavy-duty corrugated packaging, and provides logistics services to industries including automotive, chemicals, engineering and electronics.\u00a0<\/p>\n In its statement, Rengo said: \u201cThe operation of the new plant will enhance the supply system to deliver products more quickly and meet wider range of packaging needs in Europe.
