Ally McCoist has explained why he thinks a Manchester United star did something that you \u201ccan\u2019t\u201d do during his side\u2019s 2-1 win against Crystal Palace.<\/p>\n
There was pressure on Man Utd<\/strong><\/a> to return to winning ways on Sunday afternoon after they slumped to a disappointing 1-0 loss against 10-man Everton at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n For a while, Ruben Amorim<\/strong>\u2018<\/a>s side looked on course for another defeat as Leny Yoro gifted Palace a penalty, which was converted by Jean-Philippe Mateta.<\/p>\n However, Man Utd improved after the break and scored two quickfire goals to turn the game around as Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount found the net.<\/p>\n Palace were far from their best as they could not bounce back and were beaten 2-1, with this result meaning the Red Devils have only lost one of their last seven games in the Premier League.<\/p>\n READ: Has Amorim got Man Utd on the Arsenal path to Premier League dominance?<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n United\u2019s win lifts them back into the top half of the Premier League table<\/strong><\/a>, though they have not been without their critics and journalist William Bitibiri claims Yoro \u201clooked off it\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cYoro has looked off it all afternoon,\u201d\u00a0Bitibiri said.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a definite spot-kick. Clumsy stuff from him.\u201d<\/p>\n Speaking on the penalty incident, co-commentator Ally McCoist claimed Yoro was \u201cnaive\u201d after Adam Wharton produced a \u201ctremendous pass\u201d to open up Man Utd.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat a ball from Adam Wharton and it\u2019s not the first time either,\u201d McCoist said on TNT Sports.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s one of the best midfielders at playing a first-time pass forward, he really is. It\u2019s just brilliant.<\/p>\n \u201cThe tackle is naive but it\u2019s brilliant from Wharton. You\u2019ve got to let him go.<\/p>\n \u201cYou can\u2019t make that challenge there! You can\u2019t do it. He\u2019s going on to De Ligt, you must let him go and try and get back in goal-side maybe.<\/p>\n \u201cDoes he slip? He might slip but there\u2019s no need at all to make that challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n At half-time, pundits Joe Cole and Peter Crouch also commented on Yoro, who was \u201creally clumsy\u201d and got \u201cpunished\u201d for his error.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s just so clumsy,\u201d Cole said.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s got the wrong side of him.
