Princess Beatrice could soon\nhave her mother, Sarah Ferguson, in her back garden

Princess Beatrice could soon have her mother, Sarah Ferguson,
\nliving at the end of her garden with reports suggesting a move to
\nthe Cotswolds is imminent for the former duchess.<\/p>\n
Sarah Ferguson has lived at Royal Lodge on the Windsor estate
\nfor the last two decades, sharing the thirty room royal residence
\nwith her former husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.<\/p>\n
However, both are now set to move within weeks after Andrew
\nMountbatten-Windsor surrendered the lease on the property after
\nrenewed controversy around his friendship with convicted sex
\noffender, Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n
The King\u2019s brother is expected to relocate to a cottage on the
\nSandringham estate, provided for him by Charles III.<\/p>\n

The Norfolk estate is owned privately by King Charles rather
\nthan by the Crown.<\/p>\n
The new home of Sarah Ferguson remains a mystery but the latest
\nreports, in the Daily Mail, are that her elder daughter, Princess
\nBeatrice, is preparing the granny flat at the Cotswolds home she
\nshares with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and their
\nfamily.<\/p>\n
Beatrice and Edoardo live in a six bedroom home in the heart of
\nthe Cotswolds with their children. They have two daughters together
\nwhile Edoardo has a son from a previous relationship. Sienna
\nMapelli Mozzi, who is 4, and her little sister, Athena, 10 months,
\ncould soon have their grandmother on hand all the time to help look
\nafter them and their stepbrother, Wolfie.<\/p>\n
Sarah\u2019s other daughter, Princess Eugenie, currently divides her
\ntime between England and Portugal along with her husband, Jack
\nBrooksbank, and their sons, August, 4, and Ernest, 2.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s not yet known whether Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35, will
\ntake their families to Sandringham for Christmas where King Charles
\nand Queen Camilla will host the royals for the traditional festive
\ncelebrations.<\/p>\n
Neither Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor nor Sarah Ferguson will be at
\nthe royal Christmas. In 2024, Eugenie wasn\u2019t present but Beatrice
\ndid attend after having to cancel her plans to go to Italy with her
\nfamily at the last minute after doctors advised her not to travel
\nin the final stages of her pregnancy with Athena.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s also not know whether either princess will join the Royal
\nFamily at the Christmas celebration being held at Westminster Abbey
\nin the coming days by the Princess of Wales. Both Beatrice and
\nEugenie have attended in the past.<\/p>\n

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor announced in October that he would no
\nlonger use the title of Duke of York which he had been given by
\nQueen Elizabeth II in July 1986 when he married Sarah Ferguson.
\nHowever, just weeks later, Buckingham Palace announced that King
\nCharles would make decisive moves to permanently take away the
\ntitle.<\/p>\n
Within days, The King had written to the Lord Chancellor asking
\nfor the title of Duke of York to be removed from the Roll of the
\nPeerage. Andrew also lost his titles of Earl of Inverness and Baron
\nKillyleagh.<\/p>\n
King Charles also issued Letters Patent removing the HRH and
\nPrince that his brother had held from the moment of his birth in
\n1960.<\/p>\n
Buckingham Palace announced that the second son of Queen
\nElizabeth II and Prince Philip would henceforth be known as Andrew
\nMountbatten-Windsor.<\/p>\n
Since then, Andrew has only been seen briefly in public, while
\nout riding at Windsor. It\u2019s understood his move from Royal Lodge
\nwill take place within weeks.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s not know what will happen to the property which was once
\nthe home of Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother. Andrew had lived at
\nit on a peppercorn rent since 2003 and that arrangement caused
\nfurther anger.<\/p>\n
Sarah Ferguson has made no public comment on her future since
\nmaking it known that she had decided to give up her courtesy title.
\nThe removal of Andrew\u2019s title from the Roll of Peerage means that
\nher courtesy title, given to her when she divorced, is no longer
\navailable for use.<\/p>\n
The titles of Beatrice and Eugenie are unchanged as they were
\nHRH and Princess because of the 1917 Letters Patent issued by King
\nGeorge V which bestow that honour on all children of a Monarch and
\nall their grandchildren in the male line, that is all the children
\nof a Monarch\u2019s sons.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s thought that these rules will be changed in the near future
\nin line with equality \u2013 at the moment, the children of a Monarch\u2019s
