The easyJet plane left <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edinburghlive.co.uk\/news\/edinburgh-news\/christmas-market-two-hours-edinburgh-32779323\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Prague;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Prague <\/a>at around 9.25pm on November 30, heading for the capital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Flight EZY3326 diverted to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edinburghlive.co.uk\/news\/edinburgh-news\/12-pictures-sum-up-just-18924713\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Glasgow;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Glasgow<\/a>, with the airline sourcing taxis for passengers &#8216;where possible&#8217;. Other customers had to source their own travel back to Edinburgh, with easyJet confirming they will be reimbursed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The diversion was due to the closure of the runway at Edinburgh Airport. The airline said that while it was &#8216;outside of their control&#8217;. they apologise for the inconvenience.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">An easyJet spokesperson told Edinburgh Live: &#8220;Flight EZY3326 from Prague to Edinburgh was required to divert to Glasgow due to an earlier delay, which meant the flight was unable to land before the airport curfew in place for runway works.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;We did all possible to minimise the impact of the disruption for our customers.
