Kate Middleton<\/a> is decorating for a lot more than just the holidays<\/a> right now. The Prince and Princess of Wales<\/a> recently moved their family from Adelaide Cottage<\/a> on the Windsor Castle grounds into their \u201cforever home,\u201d<\/a> as MailOnline<\/a> dubbed it, at nearby Forest Lodge<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With its handsome Georgian-era facade, the historic eight-bedroom manor is already lovely enough, though Kate appears to be putting her History of Art degree to good use designing the interiors. Per MailOnline and Tatler<\/a>, Kate has \u201cthoroughly enjoyed\u201d renovating the space with an eye for the \u201ccontemporary classic\u201d look. In particular, the princess was spotted shopping for an antique 24-seat dining table and perusing the hand-printed textiles at Marina Mill<\/a>\u2014a royal favorite that\u2019s also been used to source items for Buckingham Palace and Clarence House.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first royal abode Kate\u2019s lent her design eye to: She previously oversaw the redesign of Anmer Hall<\/a>, the Norfolk country house that the late Queen Elizabeth II gifted to her and William after their wedding. Her brother-in-law Prince Harry also called out her posh interior tastes when describing William and Kate\u2019s previous home at apartment 1A of Kensington Palace in his memoir, Spare. \u201cThe wallpaper, the ceiling trim, the walnut bookshelves filled with volumes of peaceful colours, priceless works of art. Magnificent. Like a museum,\u201d Harry wrote.<\/p>\n
