Following his title run, Moller is up to No. 121 in the PIF ATP Rankings, drawing him closer to his Top 100 debut.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s incredible. I was actually not sure a month and a half ago if I was going to play anymore this year,&#8221; Moller said in his post-match press conference. &#8220;It was good for me to take a break from playing tournaments, practising and staying at home. I feel like I came here with new energy that had been missing for a while. I\u2019m happy I did that for myself. It paid off in the end.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\nThis was not the first time Moller triumphed in Portugal this year. He also won the Oeiras Challenger in April. His second Challenger title of the season came in July in Iasi, Romania. All four of Moller\u2019s career Challenger crowns have come on clay.<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Samuel secures back-to-back titles<\/strong><br \/>Briton <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/toby-samuel\/s0tm\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Toby Samuel<\/a> finished his season in dominant fashion. The former University of South Carolina star, who graduated in 2024, won back-to-back Challenger titles, with his most recent victory coming at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/scores\/archive\/manama\/3045\/2025\/results\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manama Challenger<\/a> in Bahrain. He raced past <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/ilia-simakin\/s0o6\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ilia Simakin<\/a> 6-0, 6-2 in a 48-minute final.<\/p>\n<p>\nSamuel, 23, did not drop a set all week in Manama and is now at a career-high No. 267 in the PIF ATP Rankings. The week before, Samuel was crowned champion in Soma Bay, Egypt. He also won an ITF M15 title in Sharm ElSheikh in early November.<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Gomez wins first Challenger title of season in final week<\/strong><br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/federico-agustin-gomez\/gj16\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federico Agustin Gomez<\/a> secured his first Challenger title of 2025 and fourth overall with his triumph at the Challenger Dove Men+Care Temuco in Chile. Credit: Legi\u00f3n Sudamericana<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Mejia triumphs on home soil in Bogota<\/strong><br \/>Colombia\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/nicolas-mejia\/m0aw\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nicolas Mejia<\/a> triumphed on home soil at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/scores\/archive\/bogota\/3041\/2025\/results\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Challenger Seguros del Estado<\/a> in the capital city Bogota. A three-time Challenger champion, Mejia\u2019s victory marked his first on Colombian soil. All four of Hijikata\u2019s Challenger trophies have come on Australian soil. Credit: Mark Willoughby\/Aussie Photo Media<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Clarke wins Pakistan\u2019s first Challenger tournament<\/strong><br \/>Briton <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/jay-clarke\/ci14\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jay Clarke<\/a> went one step further than last week\u2019s runner-up finish in Soma Bay with a title run in Islamabad, Pakistan, which became the 97th country to host a Challenger event. Clarke, 27, beat Turkey\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/mert-alkaya\/a09q\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mert Alkaya<\/a> 6-3, 6-1 in the final.<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Geerts wins maiden Challenger crown in Greece<\/strong><br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/michael-geerts\/gg65\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Michael Geerts<\/a> won the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/scores\/archive\/athens\/3043\/2025\/results\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">I.T.C. Athens Challenger<\/a>, which was directed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/apostolos-tsitsipas\/t09t\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Apostolos Tsitsipas<\/a>, the father and coach of ATP Tour star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/stefanos-tsitsipas\/te51\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stefanos Tsitsipas<\/a>. Geerts defeated the top two seeds, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/sandro-kopp\/k0cj\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sandro Kopp<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/arthur-fery\/f0dm\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arthur Fery<\/a>, respectively, in his final two matches of the week. The 30-year-old outlasted Fery 7-5, 4-6, 6-2 in a hard-fought final to claim his maiden Challenger crown.
