Created by Japenese designer Tomohiro Okazaki, who runs a studio called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingdesign.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SWIMMING<\/a>, \u201cPaper Study\u201d is a series of short intervals in which pieces of cut, folded, and sculpted paper appears to move on its own.  Flat sheets transform into voluminous structures before collapsing back into a single plane, and arches, circles, and myriad other shapes move in sync. <\/p>\n<p>Okazaki is known for his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thisiscolossal.com\/tags\/tomohiro-okazaki\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">playful optical animations<\/a> using matches and other household objects.
