The supermarket is celebrating the nation\u2019s favourite buys and the shopping trends that defined the year, with one bestselling product from each of 10 major UK cities having been turned into a limited-edition wrapping paper design.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\"><a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/whats-on\/food-drink-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"The all-butter croissantLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">The all-butter croissant<\/a> took the top spot as one of Liverpool&#8217;s best-loved products for 2025. category and remain faithful to their local store, routine and go-to basket.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">20% identified as &#8216;deal detectives&#8217;, snapping up supermarket apps, discount codes and vouchers, and 12% said they were &#8216;aisle adventurers\u2019 who browse the shops without a plan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">Joanna Gomer, marketing director at Lidl GB, said: \u201cThis year, our customers have shown us once again that the weekly shop is about more than groceries;
