Winds reached 96 MPH (154 km\/h), knocking out power for millions and causing widespread damage. <a href=\"https:\/\/bikerumor.com\/interview-trail-master-dan-atherton-on-dyfi-bike-park-tracks-and-atherton-bike-design\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dyfi Bike Park<\/a> was closed during Darragh, with some tracks remaining closed for rebuilding and repair.<\/p>\n<p>One area of the Dyfi Forest was utterly devastated. Tower trees now looked like spilled toothpicks, splintered and jagged across the forest floor.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>While many would see the area as a complete lost cause, Gee Atherton saw an opportunity.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>His new film, Windfell, documents the storm\u2019s aftermath, the build, and riding the new line.
