Prince William<\/a> has been convinced to join Kate Middleton<\/a> on her cold-water swims<\/a>, a habit she has kept up since her cancer diagnosis<\/a>, as she believes it helps her body manage stress.<\/p>\n

Previously speaking about this element of her health and fitness routine<\/a>, Kate said on The Good, The Bad and The Rugby podcast that when it comes to cold swimming<\/a>, “the colder the better.”<\/p>\n

At the time, the Princess of Wales said her husband thought that cold-water swimming was “crazy” \u2013 especially when it’s “dark and raining”. Now, though, the Prince of Wales<\/a> has backtracked on that and has taken up cold-water swimming with Kate.<\/p>\n

“You feel great afterwards,” he admitted of the ritual during a recent visit to Colwyn Bay in Wales. “I love it,” he added, before revealing: “I do a lot of yelling and screaming when I get in.”<\/p>\n

“William has come around to seeing that Catherine’s regimen isn’t just about pushing limits,” a palace source told RadarOnline<\/a> of William and Kate’s new shared hobby. “She genuinely believes the cold jolt helps the body handle both mental and physical strain, and he wanted to be part of something that clearly supports her.”<\/p>\n

Someone else, who witnessed William talking about cold-water swimming on his Colwyn Bay visit, said: “He mentioned he had begun giving it a try and was taken aback by how invigorating it was.” <\/p>\n

“He joked that he still shouts his way into the water,” they continued, “but he also said the after-effects were remarkable.”<\/p>\n
