Gomez, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Ekitike<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The other option that Slot could consider may involve naming <strong><a data-ail=\"330979\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/curtis-jones\/\" title=\"Curtis Jones\" rel=\"noopener\">Curtis Jones<\/a><\/strong> at right-back if Gomez cannot back up after three days, and he is preferred to start at <a data-ail=\"330979\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/leeds\/\" title=\"Leeds\" rel=\"noopener\">Leeds<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>With <a data-ail=\"330979\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/alexis-mac-allister\/\" title=\"Alexis Mac Allister\" rel=\"noopener\">Alexis Mac Allister<\/a> playing three 90 minutes in a row for the first time since April, he could shift to the bench for a midfield three of <b><a data-ail=\"330979\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/ryan-gravenberch\/\" title=\"Ryan Gravenberch\" rel=\"noopener\">Ryan Gravenberch<\/a>, Szoboszlai<\/b> and <b>Wirtz<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>If Isak was fit to start there could be an argument to utilise both him and <strong>Ekitike<\/strong> up front, but with the Frenchman playing less over the last three games (118 minutes vs. 165), it may be deemed wise to give him the opportunity:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-lazy-type=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/LFCXI-Option-357x450.jpg\" alt=\"Alisson; Jones, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Szoboszlai; Salah, Wirtz, Gakpo; Ekitike<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are unlikely to be major changes to Slot\u2019s lineup, especially after a valuable win, with tweaks likely in response to fitness management.<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool are not expecting any player back for this fixture, which will be a test of their resolve as <a data-ail=\"330979\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/sunderland\" rel=\"noopener\">Sunderland<\/a> have proved they have the resilience to retain their <a data-ail=\"330979\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/premier-league\" rel=\"noopener\">Premier League<\/a> status.<\/p>\n<p>The first goal is key as Liverpool have won all 10 after opening the scoring;
