The Austrian is a former <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/news\/racing\/giro-ditalia\/giro-ditalia-jerseys-pink-purple-blue-and-white-explained-470117\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/news\/racing\/giro-ditalia\/giro-ditalia-jerseys-pink-purple-blue-and-white-explained-470117\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maglia Rosa<\/a> jersey wearer and stage winner at the <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/racing\/giro-ditalia\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/racing\/giro-ditalia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Giro d\u2019Italia<\/a>, known for his huge engine, and was naturally a marked man at the race. Lukas\u2019s bike proved a welcome contrast to his rivals; its white frame provided the ideal canvas for graffiti-style decals to make an impact. Closer examination reveals a Wolf Tooth LoneWolf chaincatcher to ensure chain security over the rough, corrugated roads that underscored much of the Gravel Burn route.<\/p>\n<p>As was the overarching theme at this year\u2019s event, the Austrian favoured <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/fitness\/bike-fit\/best-clipless-pedals-20941\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/fitness\/bike-fit\/best-clipless-pedals-20941\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">road bike pedals<\/a> over off-road-specific hardware, in this case, a pair of <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/reviews\/brand\/shimano\" data-auto-tag-linker=\"true\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-redirect=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/tag\/shimano\"
