Nadia Caterina Munno<\/a> is serving up her literary tastes!<\/p>\n

The Pasta Queen star teamed up with Reese\u2019s Book Club<\/a> to share some of her audiobook recommendations \u2014 and which pasta dish they remind her of \u2014 as part of the club\u2019s Lit Check series.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In collaboration with Apple Books, the book club’s official audiobook home, Lit Check selections \u201cmeet the Reese\u2019s Book Club brand ethos of where women\u2019s stories shine to provide more book recommendations to the community,\u201d per a statement previously shared with PEOPLE.<\/p>\n

The first of Munno\u2019s picks was Year of Yes<\/a>, a memoir from acclaimed producer and screenwriter Shonda Rhimes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I really loved about this is the power of breaking through your fears and saying yes,\u201d Munno says of the non-fiction read. \u201cThis book is cozy, it\u2019s powerful, just like a gorgeous bolognese.\u201d<\/p>\n

Munno also devoured Sophia Loren<\/a>\u2019s memoir Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow: My Life<\/a>. She described the Academy Award winner\u2019s book as \u201crich\u201d and \u201ccomplex,\u201d just like the pasta alla norcina Munno compared it to.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe never compromised her own personal values,\u201d Munno says. \u201cI love Sophia and I love this book.\u201d<\/p>\n

Munno additionally loved Mindy Kaling<\/a>\u2019s bestselling essay collection Why Not Me?<\/a>, which Munno called \u201cbold, zesty and bright,\u201d like a creamy lemon pasta dish.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I get asked, \u2018How do you get to be so confident?\u2019, it\u2019s exactly what Mindy talks about in this audiobook,\u201d the cookbook author and content creator says. \u201cConfidence, as she says, is much like respect. You have to earn it, and I love that Mindy narrates it herself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Finally, Munno ordered up My American Dream: A Life of Love, Family, and Food<\/a> by Lidia Matticchio Bastianich, a memoir by the celebrated Italian chef.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can truly tell that she loves what she does,\u201d Munno says. \u201cComing from a very difficult place and getting away from a very difficult time in Italy, starting with kids that are little, opening restaurants, building such a strong and powerful career through it all. I love Lidia and I love this book. It\u2019s full of heart, soul, just like a gorgeous lasagna.\u201d<\/p>\n
