{"id":607819,"date":"2025-12-02T17:21:20","date_gmt":"2025-12-02T17:21:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/607819\/"},"modified":"2025-12-02T17:21:20","modified_gmt":"2025-12-02T17:21:20","slug":"if-europe-wants-to-start-a-war-we-are-ready-now-russias-putin-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/607819\/","title":{"rendered":"If Europe wants to start a war we are ready now, Russia&#8217;s Putin says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n         Published on<br \/>\n            02\/12\/2025 &#8211; 18:00 GMT+1\n            <\/p>\n<p>If Europe wants to wage war, then Moscow is \u201cready now,&#8221; Russia\u2019s President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at an investment forum in Moscow, Putin blamed the Europeans for not having a \u201cpeaceful agenda&#8221; and said Europe is \u201con the side of war\u201d, referring to Western support of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf Europe decides to go to war with Russia and actually starts a war, a situation could very quickly come where Moscow simply has no one to negotiate with,\u201d the Russian president added.<\/p>\n<p>European governments &#8220;live under illusions&#8221; of imposing a strategic defeat on Russia, according to Putin.<\/p>\n<p>Putin also said that the European demands regarding putting an end to Russia\u2019s full-scale invasion of Ukraine are \u201cnot acceptable\u201d to Moscow.<\/p>\n<p>Putin reiterated the Kremlin\u2019s position once again: to negotiate only with the US administration and not allow European leaders at the table, claiming they are \u201chindering\u201d the US administration and President Donald Trump in their efforts to \u201creach a peace agreement through talks\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>Moscow also refused to negotiate with Ukraine&#8217;s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. <\/p>\n<p>Russia &#8216;creating an option&#8217; to go to war against NATO<\/p>\n<p>German officials warned recently that they expect Russia to be ready to attack NATO in 2029.<\/p>\n<p>German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul stated that new intelligence assessments show Moscow is preparing for the option of a future attack against the EU and NATO.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur intelligence services are issuing urgent warnings: at the very least, Russia is creating the option for itself to wage war against NATO by 2029,&#8221; according to the Foreign Ministry statement. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have to deter further Russian aggression, together with our partners and allies,&#8221; the statement added.<\/p>\n<p>European countries have been registering a surge of suspected Russia-linked activities and Moscow-orchestrated hybrid attacks, including cyber attacks, sabotage attempts and even drone and missile incursions into the European NATO airspace.<\/p>\n<p>Unidentified drones have caused airport closures in the Baltic states and Eastern European countries, as well as in Belgium and Germany.
