The international cricket community is in mourning following the news of the passing of former England batter Robin Smith.<\/p>\n
Smith, aged 62, was a vital figure in England\u2019s Test team between 1988 and 1996.<\/p>\n
Having made his debut against West Indies in 1988, the right-handed batter went on to amass 4236 runs off 62 Test appearances, averaging an impressive 43.67.<\/p>\n
This included nine centuries, three of which came against the Windies, including his highest-ever Test score of 175.
