ITV presenter Laura Woods collapsed during the broadcaster\u2019s live build-up of England\u2019s final match of 2025 against Ghana on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
The 38-year-old was leading ITV\u2019s coverage of the friendly at St Mary\u2019s in Southampton and fell forward. Woods was caught by pundits Ian Wright and Anita Asante before the camera cut away from the scene and went to an advert break.<\/p>\n
When the coverage of the Lionesses\u2019 game resumed, fellow presenter Katie Shanahan had stepped in to replace the absent Woods, confirming she was unwell. \u201cAs you have probably noticed we don\u2019t have the wonderful Laura Woods because she\u2019s just been taken ill but she\u2019s in very good hands so I\u2019m stepping in at late notice,\u201d Shanahan said.<\/p>\n
ITV have yet to give an update on Woods\u2019 health but Shanahan said on air that Woods was \u201cin really good hands and we\u2019re wishing her a speedy recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n
Woods\u2019s partner, Adam Collard, later posted a positive update on X: \u201cLaura is all OK and with the right people. Thank you for all of your kind messages.\u201d<\/p>\n
