Daniel Farke continues to be linked with the sack at Leeds United.<\/strong><\/p>\n Leeds fell to a 3-2 defeat at Manchester City<\/a> on Saturday, which left the Whites in 18th place in the Premier League. <\/p>\n Leeds have won just three times in their first 13 matches back in the top-flight, and the 49ers Enterprises group<\/a> are understood to be concerned.<\/p>\n Farke\u2019s future at Leeds is understood to be hanging in the balance<\/a>, and he could be dismissed if his side lose their next two against Chelsea and Liverpool.<\/p>\n Leeds\u2019 players have shown significant fight<\/a> despite the speculation surrounding their manager, and were unlucky not to come away from the Etihad Stadium with a point.<\/p>\n BBC journalist Adam Pope believes that Farke<\/a> still has the backing of the squad and has not lost the dressing room.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Speaking on the Don\u2019t Go To Bed Just Yet<\/a> podcast on 1 December, he said: \u201cYou get a feeling when the players are not having the manager any more, and that really doesn\u2019t seem to be a case right now.\u201d<\/p>\n Why Leeds should not rush into Farke sack decision<\/p>\n It is a crucial few weeks for the Whites\u2019 hierarchy, as they will have to make a decision on the manager soon. <\/p>\n However, they should be cautious when it comes to sacking the 49-year-old, as the grass may not be greener. <\/p>\n The options to replace Farke, are not exactly thrilling, with the likes of Carlos Corberan and Brendan Rodgers, who have been linked with the role, not exactly pulling up trees recently. <\/p>\n Corberan could not get West Brom into the Championship playoffs and has since been struggling with Valencia, while Rodgers resigned from his post at Celtic after a conflict with the board.<\/p>\n It would be a huge ask for a new boss to come into the LS11 dugout and turn results around immediately, while also changing the system that the Peacocks utilise. <\/p>\n Farke should be backed in the January transfer market, as the ownership failed to bring in the required amount of attackers in the summer, and that has hampered him. <\/p>\n He can still be the man to keep the Yorkshire outfit in the division, if he is backed to bring in the right players to turn it around.<\/p>\n Enjoyed this article?<\/strong>\u00a0Stay connected with all the latest Leeds United news, updates, and behind-the-scenes content by following us on our new Instagram account \u2013@motleedsnews<\/a><\/p>\n ![\"Leeds](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Paraag-Marathe-1-copy-1024x576.png\")
