Germany will play a friendly against tournament co-hosts the United States in Chicago on June 6 ahead of their 2026 World Cup campagin, the German FA announced Tuesday.\n<\/p>\n
The match, the four-time World Cup winners’ final warm-up game, will take place at Chicago’s 61\u00a0500-seater Soldier Field days before the tournament begins on June 11.\n<\/p>\n
Germany have already qualified for the 48-team tournament, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.<\/p>\n
Chicago is not among the host cities for the tournament.\n<\/p>\n
In the lead up to the World Cup, Germany have confirmed fixtures against Ivory Coast in Stuttgart on March 30 along with Finland in Mainz on May 31.\n<\/p>\n
The draw for the 2026 World Cup will take place on Friday in Washington.\n<\/p>\n
