Love Island star Adam Collard has reassured fans after his fianc\u00e9e, Laura Woods, collapsed live on ITV during coverage of England’s friendly clash with Ghana at St Mary\u2019s Stadium in Southampton. Broadcasters immediately cut to a commercial break after the presenter fell forward, with pundit Ian Wright quickly stepping in to catch her.<\/p>\n
Adam, 30, shared an update on social media, writing: “Laura is all OK and with the right people. Thank you for all of your kind messages\u201d alongside a white heart emoji. ITV<\/a> also confirmed Woods is “doing OK.”<\/p>\n Following the incident, fellow presenter Katie Shanahan took over the broadcast<\/a>, explaining to viewers: “As you have probably noticed, we don\u2019t have the wonderful Laura Woods because she\u2019s just been taken ill.<\/p>\n “She\u2019s in very good hands, so I\u2019m stepping in at late notice.”<\/p>\n Fans quickly sent their support online, with one commenting: \u201cReally hope Laura Woods is okay. Fair play to the stand-in presenter who stepped in, some effort that.\u201d<\/p>\n Laura and Adam have been together since 2023, shortly after Adam\u2019s second stint on Love Island. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Leo, in January, reports the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n Earlier this year, Laura opened up about the “very awful times” she and fianc\u00e9 Adam endured after she suffered a miscarriage.
