An e-bike rider has died and two pedestrians have been seriously injured following a crash, with a number of different roads closed by police.<\/p>\n

The collision took place in North Manchester<\/a> on Tuesday, December 2.<\/p>\n

The rider, confirmed by police<\/a> as male, was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident on Rochdale Road, Blackley.<\/a> Both pedestrians were rushed to hospital after being seriously injured.<\/p>\n

The force have cordoned off the area as investigations are underway and closures are in place on Whitemoss Road and Lionbrow Road according to Manchester Evening News.<\/a><\/p>\n

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Officers are dealing with a serious RTC on Rochdale Road in north Manchester between a e-bike rider and two pedestrians. The male e-bike rider has sadly been pronounced dead at the scene, and the two pedestrians have been taken to hospital with serious injuries.<\/p>\n

“While officers continue with their investigations, there will be significant road closures in place. Namely on Rochdale Road, Whitemoss Road and Lionbrow Road.
