The list of managers linked with replacing Daniel Farke at Leeds United is growing and a new name is said to be under consideration this week, alongside Brendan Rodgers and Ange Postecoglou.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daniel Farke has two games to save his Leeds United job<\/a>. The Whites host Chelsea on Wednesday night before welcoming Liverpool to Elland Road<\/a> on Saturday, and the 49ers<\/a> want to see Leeds<\/a> avoid defeat.<\/p>\n

Should Leeds fail to get anything out of those games, then Farke<\/a> will be relieved of his duties. It comes after a disastrous run of six losses in seven Premier League<\/a> games, and four consecutive Leeds defeats.<\/p>\n

Ange Postecoglou and Brendan Rodgers have been naturally touted<\/a> with the role, given they have only recently left jobs. More recently, Hungarian icon Zsolt Low has been offered to Leeds<\/a> by RedBull.<\/p>\n

For a few days however, the favourite with the bookies has been former Wolves and Bournemouth boss Gary O\u2019Neil. Now, TalkSPORT<\/a> say that Leeds are considering O\u2019Neil, a household Premier League name.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Neil has been out of work since leaving Wolves midway through last season. He had the chance to go back to Wolves following the sacking of Vitor Pereira, but TalkSPORT say he chose to reject that move.<\/p>\n

Instead, Wolves have appointed Rob Edwards and O\u2019Neil remains out of work. Now, the report claims O\u2019Neil is under serious consideration while Rodgers and Postecoglou are named as contenders again.<\/p>\n

Gary O\u2019Neil involved in two high-scoring games v Leeds United<\/p>\n

O\u2019Neil has been in the dugout twice against Leeds, both games meaningful for the Leeds boss at the time. Having beaten Liverpool at Anfield, Jesse Marsch oversaw a 4-3 win over O\u2019Neil\u2019s Bournemouth.<\/p>\n

It kept Marsch in a job, a decision Andrea Radrizzani now admits was a mistake<\/a>. In the reverse fixture that season, O\u2019Neil\u2019s Bournemouth hammered Leeds 4-1. It was Javi Gracia and Victor Orta\u2019s last game.<\/p>\n

Typical, then, that Leeds could now hire the manager who played a big part in the club making a mistake with Marsch, and the manager who stuck the knife in Gracia and Orta\u2019s coffin just over two years ago.<\/p>\n

For now, all eyes will be on Farke and whether he can manage to pull off a shock result against Chelsea, or Liverpool, over the next few days. Paraag Marathe will be keeping a close eye on proceedings, too.<\/p>\n
