\n\tHBO and HBO Max<\/a> chief Casey\u00a0Bloys unveiled the programmer\u2019s latest slate in London on Wednesday night, and he brought stars with him.<\/p>\n

\n\tEuphoria news shared by Bloys at the event was the April launch (exact date to-be-determined) for the show\u2019s long-awaited season 3. He then welcomed executive producer, writer and director Sam Levinson to the stage. As far as plot details, Zendaya\u2019s Rue is looking at innovative ways to pay back debt, while Sharon Stone plays a showrunner, and Sydney Sweeney, Colman Domingo and Co. all also face interesting new challenges, Bloys said in some teases for the new season. <\/p>\n

\n\tLevinson said he was \u201cvery excited\u201d about the success of Euphoria\u2018s cast, including in movies, since the first season. \u201cBeing out of the safety net of school\u201d is what the new season is about, he said. \u201cThe stakes are higher.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAlso joining Bloys in London were The Comeback <\/strong>creators Michael Patrick King and Lisa Kudrow<\/a> as well as Industry co-creators and writers Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, along with star Marisa Abela. Kay promised the upcoming season 4 would be \u201cthe most entertaining season we have made.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tUpcoming series A Night of the Seven Kingdoms, set in the Game of Thrones universe, also took the spotlight, with co-creator and showrunner Ira Parker sharing that protagonist Ser Duncan \u201cDunk\u201dthe Tall\u00a0is \u201cfrom the ass-end, shit hole end of Westeros,\u201d he said, naturally leading to some humor. \u201cThis feels like an on-ramp\u201d and lighter take on the GoT universe, also for audiences who may not have watched the original. Parker promised a \u201cgritty, and miserable, and muddy\u201d show. And to laughs, he quipped that the lower budget is more in line with Dunk\u2019s upbringing than the other shows in the same universe.<\/p>\n

\n\tParker lauded star Peter Claffey as \u201ca leader\u201d and great person to have around and called Dexter Sol Ansell the greatest child actor ever.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe final guests on the London stage were The Comeback creator, writer and star Lisa Kudrow and creator, writer and director Michael Patrick King. They shared that the return of the show will center on AI. \u201cIt\u2019s very grounded in real life. This is not sci fi,\u201d King said. \u201cThis may be happening, for all we know, somewhere right now.\u201d Added Kudrow: \u201cIt\u2019s from what we heard of could be the potential problems.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBloys on Wednesday also explained that Max originals used to be somewhat \u201cnebulous\u201d but are now about \u201cmore cost-efficient, yet elevated\u201d fare. He touted such recent audience hits as Task, 12.6 million viewers per episode, and The Chair Company. And he said that IT: Welcome to Derry\u2019s audience performance ranks only behind House of the Dragon<\/a> and The Last of Us.<\/p>\n

\n\tAsked about the bidding process for Warner Bros. Discovery, Bloys said he has not felt any impact. \u201cIt\u2019s business as usual for us,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

\n\tInternational<\/a> local productions are part of the mix. They are \u201cvital to our success and can break out at any moment,\u201d he emphasized.<\/p>\n

\n\tBloys also showed trailers for the likes of Rooster, Lanterns and House of the Dragon season 3, and mentioned such in-the-works series as an untitled Sharon Horgan comedy, which was first unveiled in February<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe event in London\u2019s Soho came after HBO Max<\/a>, the streaming service from\u00a0Warner Bros. Discovery<\/a>\u00a0(WBD), eaarlier in the day unveiled the latest steps in its\u00a0international\u00a0expansion with\u00a0market launches in Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Liechtenstein on Jan. 13. WBD, which is currently the object of\u00a0a bidding war<\/a>, also noted that the service would launch in the U.K. and Ireland in early 2026, completing its European roll-out.<\/p>\n
