A host of local organisations, South Leeds Life included, will be exhibiting a specially decorated tree, reflecting their activities.<\/p>\n<p>The festival is open to the public on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tuesday 9 December\u00a0 |\u00a0 2:30-4pm<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday 10 December\u00a0 |\u00a0 10:30am-12pm<\/li>\n<li>Thursday 11 December\u00a0 |\u00a0 2:30-4pm<\/li>\n<li>Friday 12 December\u00a0 |\u00a0 2-4:30pm<\/li>\n<li>Saturday 13 December\u00a0 |\u00a0 10am-12pm<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday 17 December\u00a0 |\u00a0 10:30am-12pm<\/li>\n<li>Thursday 18 December\u00a0 |\u00a0 2:30-4pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The session on Friday 12 December ties in with the Christmas Lantern Festival with children\u2019s activities at the church from 4:15pm before the procession to Cross Flatts Park, led by a real donkey!<\/p>\n<p>One of the organisers, Linda Stanley from Beeston in Bloom, said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cBeeston in Bloom and St Mary\u2019s church are delighted to be hosting the Christmas Tree Festival again this December. We are pleased that many of the previous entrants are returning and welcome new contributions from Slung Low, Beeston Primary School, Holbeck Together and Beeston Womblers. There are more opening times this year and we look forward to seeing you there.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Light refreshments will be available in the church for a donation.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>While you\u2019re here, can we ask a favour?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">South Leeds Life is published by a not-for-profit social enterprise.
