A 61-year-old man who was tragically killed in a collision in north Manchester on Tuesday (December 2) has been named and pictured for the first time.<\/p>\n

Jason Parr suffered fatal injuries after his e-bike collided with two pedestrians<\/a> on Rochdale<\/a> Road in Blackley<\/a> at around 8.45pm. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene while the pedestrians were taken to hospital with minor injuries.<\/p>\n

In a tribute released through Greater Manchester Police<\/a>, Jason’s daughter Samantha paid tribute to her ‘one-of-a-kind’ dad who would be ‘missed forever. She said: \u201cWe are heartbroken and devastated by the sudden loss of our dad Jason, who was killed in a traffic accident. His absence has left a huge void in our lives, and we are struggling to come to terms with this tragedy.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt doesn\u2019t feel real, and the shock and pain is overwhelming. He was one of a kind, known for his humour and could make anyone laugh, he was loved by many. My dad meant the world to us and will be sadly missed forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

Announcing the news on social media, Samantha shared photos of Jason, with more than 150 people paying their respects in the comments. “So sorry for your loss, what a top bloke he was,” wrote one tribute.<\/p>\n

“What a top man with the biggest heart,” wrote another. “I’ll hold some top memories of him.”<\/p>\n

Bunches of flowers, including one wrapped in tinsel<\/a>, have been left at the scene close to where the crash took place. GMP say their Serious Collision Investigation Unit are continuing their enquiries into the incident.<\/p>\n
