Four men are accused of having a gun, ammunition and dirty money at a Hilton Hotel.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jason Britton, 34, Lewis Davies, 22, Cade Johnson, 27, and Marcus Taylor, 27, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The offences are said to have taken place at the location on William Street near the city\u2019s Anderston on December 2 2025.<\/p>\n

Court papers state that the four men had a converted Zoraki 917 pistol and MAXXTech ammunition without lawful authority or reasonable excuse or the permission of the Secretary of State.<\/p>\n

They are said to have no firearm certificate for the MAXXTech ammunition.<\/p>\n

Another allegation states that the men had \u00a310,225 of criminal cash in their possession.<\/p>\n

They are said to have received the cash, concealed it and transferred it.<\/p>\n

Britton faces his own charge of possession of cannabis at William Street as well as Govan police office.<\/p>\n

The four men are further claimed to have possession of a knife.<\/p>\n

Johnson faces five further allegations of breaching a serious crime prevention order \u2013 also known as a Super ASBO.<\/p>\n

This was said to have been done by entering Scotland without sending written notice of travel to the police within 24 hours.<\/p>\n

He is further said to have breached the order by having the Zoraki pistol, MAXXTech Ammunition and the \u00a310,225 in cash.<\/p>\n

The last alleged breach is that he concealed his identity by having his hood up to avoid detection by police officers.<\/p>\n

Britton, of Manchester, Davies who has no fixed abode, Johnson of Bury, and Taylor of Salford, made no plea during a private hearing.<\/p>\n

They were represented by their lawyers Ian Sievwright, Megan Voy and Bobby Reid. Fiscal Jamie Grant prosecuted.\u00a0<\/p>\n

All four were remanded in custody and committed for further examination by Sheriff Gerard Bonnar.<\/p>\n

Their next court date will be within the next eight days.<\/p>\n
