West Ham remain in the Premier League relegation zone despite a positive draw against Manchester United on Thursday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

West Ham drew 1-1 at Old Trafford on 4 December, with Diogo Dalot<\/a> the unlikely opening goalscorer with a close-range finish in the second half.<\/p>\n

Nuno Espirito Santo had his hands tied with his team selection<\/a>, with several West Ham<\/a> academy products forced on the bench.<\/p>\n

Despite that, Soungoutou Magassa<\/a> scored his first Irons goal to rescue a point, tapping home after a clearance on the line from a corner.<\/p>\n

Going back to his former side, Wan-Bissaka<\/a> was clearly determined to put on his best.<\/p>\n

The DR Congo international was rarely beaten, with his signature slide tackle to scoop around the ball coming out several times, as well as a goal-line clearance from Joshua Zirkzee.<\/p>\n

Zirkzee is wanted by West Ham<\/a> and could be Wan-Bissaka\u2019s teammate soon, and he will be glad to have him on his side, rather than against him, after tonight.<\/p>\n

The only blemish was a late yellow card for a foul on Mason Mount<\/a>, and possibly being lucky to avoid a second booking for a tackle on Patrick Dorgu.<\/p>\n

Diouf has been one of West Ham\u2019s best signings of the year<\/a>, but it was an evening to forget in Manchester.<\/p>\n

The left wing-back is better in a five, but was placed in a back four, and he was skinned regularly by Amad Diallo, who was playing out wide.<\/p>\n

With Ollie Scarles still injured<\/a> and AFCON approaching quickly, Diouf<\/a> will need to do much more over the next couple of weeks to help escape this relegation battle.<\/p>\n

If Wan-Bissaka shone, his opposite number did anything but.<\/p>\n
