Leeds<\/a> will fancy their chances of beating Liverpool this weekend, with their formation already leaving Pep Guardiola \u201crattled\u201d this season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Reds could only draw 1-1 at home to Sunderland<\/a> on Wednesday, with a trip to fellow newly-promoted side Leeds<\/a> up next on Saturday evening.<\/p>\n

Daniel Farke is under pressure to keep his job with the Whites, but the midweek 3-1 win at home to Chelsea<\/a> was a big shot in the arm.<\/p>\n

With kick-off getting closer, we spoke to Leeds<\/a> fan and journalist Charlie Smith (@CharlieSmith118<\/a>) to preview a huge game for both sides at Elland Road.<\/strong><\/p>\n

How happy are you with Leeds\u2019 start to the season?<\/p>\n

\"LEEDS,<\/p>\n

Performance-wise, the beginning of the season has been as good as we could\u2019ve hoped for, aside from a handful of disappointing displays.<\/p>\n

We haven\u2019t been rolled over on too many occasions, but dropping four points in stoppage time against Fulham<\/a> and Bournemouth<\/a> during September was a killer.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your stance on Daniel Farke\u2019s future?<\/p>\n

\"LEEDS,<\/p>\n

After Wednesday night\u2019s display and result, Daniel Farke looks to have bought himself some more time and could now remain in charge of Leeds<\/a> heading into 2026. <\/p>\n

Credit to him for making the tactical change at half-time against Man City<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Without that, he could\u2019ve been gone by now!<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Which three players have stood out most this season? Anyone struggled?<\/p>\n

\"Leeds<\/p>\n

Joe Rodon has arguably been our most consistent player for two-and-a-half years and has now made 100 consecutive league or playoff starts. <\/p>\n

He quietly goes about his business and has remained solid in the Premier League<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Left-back Gabriel Gudmundsson has shown signs of promise, especially going forward, and at \u00a310 million, looks to be a shrewd addition.<\/p>\n

On the other side, Jayden Bogle has impressed and looks to have taken his Championship form into the top-flight. <\/p>\n

Both full-backs love to get forward and appear to be ideal in a 3-5-2 system. <\/p>\n

But we\u2019ve struggled in the final third and desperately need to strengthen in the new year if we are to remain a Premier League<\/a> side in 2026\/27. <\/p>\n

What\u2019s the aim for the season now?<\/p>\n

The aim has always been to finish 17th. <\/p>\n

Whether or not we can remains to be seen, and the January transfer window could be crucial. <\/p>\n

What do you make of Liverpool and would you stick with Arne Slot?<\/p>\n

\"LIVERPOOL,<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been massively surprised by the drop-off this season after a brilliant start to the campaign in regards to results.<\/p>\n

Arne Slot<\/a> was linked with Leeds<\/a> in February 2023, so if Liverpool decide to sack him, he could be welcome at Elland Road!<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Where will Liverpool finish?<\/p>\n

\"LIVERPOOL,<\/p>\n

Even though Liverpool have already lost two more Premier League<\/a> games this season than the entirety of the 2024\/25 campaign, I\u2019d still back them to finish in the top four. <\/p>\n

Where will the key battles take place on Saturday?<\/p>\n

\"LIVERPOOL,<\/p>\n

I\u2019d probably say out wide and in midfield. <\/p>\n

We will surely now stick with the 3-5-2 system that had Pep Guardiola rattled and Chelsea<\/a> beaten at Elland Road. <\/p>\n

Leeds<\/a>\u2019 best chance will be to continue to go direct towards a front two of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha, something which should keep Virgil van Dijk<\/a> and Ibrahima Konate<\/a> busy. <\/p>\n

Finally, what\u2019s your prediction?<\/p>\n

I honestly wouldn\u2019t be surprised by any result this weekend. <\/p>\n

Every Leeds<\/a> fan would\u2019ve taken four points from six against Chelsea<\/a> and Liverpool. <\/p>\n
