Libby Cairns,\u202fChair of\u202fEast Dunbartonshire\u202fHSCP\u202fBoard, said, \u201cThe aim of Spectrum Film Club was to make a night at the movies more accessible for those with additional support considerations from East Dunbartonshire and their families, and it was loved by the people who did attend it.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cHowever, due to the dwindling audience, the film and venue costs and after a long hard few months of deliberation it has been decided that this month\u2019s showing of The Polar Express will be the film club\u2019s last ever showing.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019d like to thank the organising committee and Local Area Co-ordinators for all their hard work over the past three years with the film club.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cA special thanks to the club\u2019s spokesperson Ed who has done an amazing job of introducing each film.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThanks also to Jamie for his film introductions and to David and Louise Simmons for their tuck shop contributions \u2013 and of course to everyone who regularly attended.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThis last screening will be a celebration of the Spectrum Film Club.
